Tessa Wade

Tessa joined the symposium team briefly in Montreal while on a break from university and joined the team full time in 2012 to prepare for the 13th symposium in Malta. Tessa is a full time employee of Fireworks F/X Inc. and the 22 year old daughter of Fred & Lynn Wade, Secretary/Treasurer of the ISF.

Tessa is a 2011 graduate of Acadia University with a Bachelor of Arts, . Her real passion? Fireworks & the family business. Dedicated, hardworking & not afraid to get her hands dirty on the fireworks show site, Tessa has no plan to leave the fireworks industry or the family business. If she can't be found at the registration desk in Malta, you can guarantee she'll be hitting the shops of Malta.

"You can take the 'girl' out of the east but you can't take the east out of the 'girl'. I guess that's why I ended up back in Nova Scotia after moving west a couple of times. I missed the sea and the smell of salt in the air. Living in a small town suits me best and Wolfville is home now. It's only a few meters to the dykes from my door for a walk on the shores of the Minas Basin. Just add the company of a four legged friend for this animal lover."
